The National RCS Test Facility (NRTF) is the premier DoD outdoor facility for Radar Cross Section (RSC) testing. It specialized in narrowband and wideband RCS signature characterization of scaled, full-scale and flyable articles. As a T&E leader, our speaker will highlight ongoing efforts to better support radar T&E for upgraded capability and future requirements.

Across the United States, significant upgrades to radar systems have advanced capability to detect threats from a further range than ever before as a result of modernized threats from near-peer capabilities. In addition to this effort, the U.S. Airborne early warning systems plays an important role in overall shared awareness of incoming threats, and will undoubtedly play a larger role in Homeland defense.
